Wintering honey bees in Pass Lake

We found keeping our bees in our location,
out doors in winter unsuccessfully.
We believed the cold and wind chill off the lake
was too much for our bees.
This is the adapted shed we keep the bees in.
This shed is insulated, heated to 0 degrees Celsius.
The bees are in their super,
the entrances facing out side threw small holes.

The bees are fed sugar water
from the screened top box .
