Honey is a golden,aromatic,sweet,sticky, liquid made by honey bees from the nectar of flowers.

Colors of Honey


The aroma,taste and color of honey is determined on the type of flowers,
bees collect nectar from.

Like wine flavor changes with the weather and the type of grape.
Our wildflower honey changes with the season, the weather and flowers.

Spring honey from 'dandelion' with it's darker color and carmel flavor,
blending into Summer 'clovers' lighter color,highly aromatic
'fireweed', almost clear as water ,
Falls dark 'golden rod' with its complex notes,
and all the flowers in between.

The texture of wildflower honey may change from liquid to softly granulated to candied.
