royaljelly

I am interested in harvesting royal jelly this summer.
It is creamy white and harvested from queen cells. A small amount at a time.
I try ed it one time out in the apiari while we were working with the bees.
I wasn't expecting it to have such pungent sour flavor.
The plan is to incorporate it in a cream and as a food supplement.

composition

It has a composition of , water, proteins, all amino acids essential for humans, sugars, lipids and many minerals/K, Ca Na, Zn, Fe, Cu and Mn with a strong prevalence of potassium.and vitamins/thiamine, ravoflavin pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, niacin, folic acid, insositol ,biotin vitamin C.
Also other interesting /testosterone,and insulin like substances.

These are all in very small amounts.
This harvest is kept in the fridge to keep.

Royal Jelly is what the queen is fed.
